PROJECT_OVERVIEW

A slower way to be.

ATELIER STAY is an independent digital concept designed and developed by Mode by Gina. Imagined as a collection of contemporary boutique residences in Bali, it explores how atmosphere can be communicated through architecture, typography, motion, and digital interaction.

The experience balances immersive visual storytelling with intuitive accommodation discovery and a simplified reservation journey. Every element is considered around one idea: creating space to slow down.

THE_CHALLENGE

Designed for feeling. Built for function.

Hospitality websites need to inspire visitors while helping them find the information they need. This concept explores both priorities through expressive typography, architectural imagery, purposeful motion, and a clear browsing experience.

CREATIVE_DIRECTION

Minimal in form. Considered in every detail.

Inspired by contemporary tropical architecture, natural materials, and the quiet luxury of understated spaces. A warm ivory, soft stone, muted sage, and charcoal palette creates a restrained foundation.

Clarity, atmosphere, restraint, and continuity guide the overall experience.

INTERFACE_DETAILS

The experience is in the details.

Purposeful interactions designed to make every moment feel intuitive.

THE_DIGITAL_EXPERIENCE

A connected journey across every page.

From the cinematic homepage to three fictional residences, detail pages, Experiences, Our Story, Gallery, and the reservation demonstration, each page extends the same calm visual identity.

Shared layouts and residence data keep the experience consistent while allowing each screen to have its own editorial character.

INTERACTION_DESIGN

Movement with intention.

Scroll-led transitions, subtle scale effects, responsive navigation, accommodation cards, and the image gallery are used to support the content — not distract from it.

Reduced-motion considerations form part of the overall interaction approach.

RESERVATION_EXPERIENCE

Complex interactions, simplified.

A custom frontend booking demonstration brings date selection, residence choice, guest limits, stay duration, and a dynamic summary together into one interface.

This is a prototype interaction only: there is no live availability, payment processing, or actual booking creation.

DESIGN_&_DEVELOPMENT

Creative by nature. Structured by design.

The experience is built with Next.js 16, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4, Motion for React, and Lucide React.

Shared components and structured accommodation data connect residence discovery, detail pages, and reservation selections. Manrope and DM Sans provide a consistent typography system, supported by modular grids and reusable interface patterns.

RESPONSIVE_EXPERIENCE

A consistent character, at every size.

Editorial grids, navigation, residence cards, and booking controls adapt to different screen widths.

Responsive, accessibility, and cross-browser QA remain part of the final finishing process.

THE_OUTCOME

Thoughtful by design. Built with intention.

ATELIER STAY brings together visual storytelling, creative direction, interaction design, and modern frontend engineering in a connected multi-page prototype.

It is a self-initiated concept — not a commissioned hospitality project or a commercial booking platform. All residences and reservation scenarios are illustrative.
